Joe W

All I can say is his wife must be awfully desperate to have married him. He had no job, moved in with her and her mother, and he looks like a big lesbian.

I definitely can see the negatives of being with Joe, lol personally there's no way I could date a guy with no job or money... and he did seem to move very fast, I think he proposed on their second date?! But to be completely honest, I thought this episode was so cute and sweet, especially their wedding. That part he said about her being the answer to every prayer he ever prayed was so beautiful and loving, I had tears in my eyes lol.. It's just really beautiful that he literally went from having nothing to live for and being trapped by morbid obesity to having everything to live for, a wife and daughter and hope for their future. Yes it was risky for Sarah to take Joe when he was broke and jobless, but she clearly isn't a very shallow person or very picky and I think that's lovely in its own way. I'm pretty much her complete opposite, I usually expect a guy to be at least on the same level as me financially, cuz I'd like to actually be able to do things and have stuff together instead of being bout that struggle life lol.. but not everyone puts alot of emphasis on that type of stuff, and it's fine :D

I know, that was so strange they went on one date and he proposed marriage. I think they are two people who didn't want to be alone so they lowered their standards. My cousin and his wife are the same way. Although neither of them are overweight, but his wife has never worked and was looking for a man to support her and he's an abusive, oddball that most women with a job and any sense would not want. They both settled. It seems like that's what a lot of people on this show have done. Then when they lose the weight they quickly unload the spouse, like Christina did. I think there was a few others that did that too.

Yes, the fast proposal was strange.. and I seriously wonder where he got the money for an engagement ring lol. You're probably right that they are 2 people who probably really didn't wanna be alone, so they rushed into the first relationship they could find.. but honestly neither of them seem to be undeserving in a terribly bad way, the main things I really saw as major issues was lack of money, having to live with her mom, weird priorities concerning the wedding, moving out, getting a job, skin surgeries, etc.. I mean Joe does seem kinda childish and entitled or something with his priorities, I heard he even opened one of those fund me sites begging people to pay for his wedding and honeymoon LOL.. I think their love is beautiful, but they have some odd ways of doing things.
