Hated the ending

Anyone else thought that the ending could have been better?
I felt as though a young girl's dreams were shattered in order to make the confused husband and wife realize how much they loved each other at the first place.
Anyone else thought Manu is the most confused person in the world?
I loved Kushum's character and was really heart-broken by the ending.
Nevertheless a very entertaining movie.

You know what must have happened next... after this heart broken experience Datto, a strong women that she was must have focused entirely on sports hence completing his dreams to become an international athlete, supported by her husband Raja Awasthi. Only if they could have shown it during the credit scenes it would have completed the film entirely.

Yes, I absolutely agree and definitely I hated the ending. The cries of the young girl shattered my heart. I could see that the young girl was clear right through the end and it was Manu who was confused. The ending might be good for the movie but in the real life it does not suit.

Yeah, that is why i gave this movie 6/10. The Director or whoever ended up with an old false idea that marriage sanctity can never be broken. But you cannot remarry wild wife who have no remorse in trying to destroy your life by abandoning you in a mental asylum and cheated on you with old flame. It cannot happen even in India.

Totally felt the ending was unethical. What was kusum's fault in their nonsense love drama. She loved Manu sincerely and unconditionally. Tanu didnt desrve manu, they had a unfunctional marriage. God gave them a chance to rectify everything, but what, its like back to square one. This kind of movies are good for people who think marriages are made in heaven, once made cannot be broken. Really liked Kusum's character, the way she portrayed her love for manu. Anyways movie is entertaining but disappointing in ethical terms.

She did not love Manu. She had daddy issues and he was on a rebound. Most Bollywood films lack realistic love and this is why I hate this movie franchise. Kusum should have been with someone her age not her fathers. Tanu and Manu are bad characters who the masses are meant to glorify and look up to.
I disliked the films but enjoy the music from both.
It was a stupid story line --- But really? Innocent genuine village girl? There are barely any of those around in south asia and many have ulterior motives! In reality she would be going after Manu because he is loaded or she has psychological issues. We need realistic stories and characters.
