Through the Hollywood grapevine, everyone knows that Ethan was a horrid choice to play Chet and to use a newbie director and writer... oi vey. This is an unauthorized biopic and it's sad to see people trampling on the jazz legend's legacy. With all the inflated egos making this film, maybe they can blow enough hot air up the distributors asses to make it a success. Good luck cuz y'all need it.

shareI am not a jazz fan and all I know about Chet Baker is that he turned from an impossibly handsome man into a derelict looking old man long before he was supposed to look like that. But if there's a chance that this movie is eligible for an Oscar, then Ethan Hawke should be nominated and win best actor. For me this is the best he's ever been.
