this time i was rooting for the birds

i found it so strange that i had never heard if this before, until i was a few minutes in... first of all i suppose i reacted to the very common title, but then as it continues its all so over the top it looses all credibility, the obscene language, the moves hitchcock makes on "the girl"... it soon became evident its not the same quality as the movie with mirren and hopkins, and clearly not made by an admirer of hitchcock, this feels more like gossip, it becomes so silly that you lost the hitchcock image after a while and just felt like the actor playing some other guy, he nails the voice very well but that still doesn't convince. also seem only as opportunity to check in on after the mirren hopkins movie.
