The movie is full of manipulation

It portrays the female characters (who are portraying real people just with different names) as younger and less involved with the crime. The stealing is also toned down.

* Rachel Lee (asian girl) was the instigator for the robberies in real life. She was also also 19-20 years old at the time of the robberies. The film however portrays her as a minor, still in high school and not the instigator.

* Alexis Niers and Tess Taylor are literally portrayed as ''home schooled 15 year olds'' in the film. They were both adults at the time of the robberies. Tess Taylor was born in 1990 and Alexis 1991 - they were 18-19 when they were robbing these homes. They were also working at the time as escorts and Tess Taylor was a ''cyber girl'' meaning she posed nude on porn websites and was paid. I believe she modelled for playboy at the time. These were not little girls

* Nick Prugo was one of the only one under aged at the time. He was 16 and being influenced by a 19 year old Korean American woman to steal clothes and money for her. Nick was firmly ''Bisexual'' in his high school years. He dated Rachel.
