The girl was NOT irritating

I came here to IMDB and looked over some of the thread titles before watching this movie and there were a number of them about the little girl. I was expecting her to be a complete brat with a voice like fingernails on a chalk board...but that wasn't the case at all. She screamed but not throughout the whole movie and yes she talked a lot but that's what kids do. Clearly the people who are complaining about her don't have kids of their own. Emily Alyn Lind is a very talented actress and I hope to see her in many more films.

Well, if you say so, I guess that means everyone else is wrong because you're special.

I will say that's typical behavior of a little girl.
However , not when you are trying to evade a threat.

The loud squealing when they were above them.Should of been dealt with better than some nursery rhymes.

It hadn't even occurred to me that the kid could be considered annoying until I came here and saw all the outrage. People ....

Like multiple people have said in this thread the actress, Emily Alyn Lind, did a tremendous job in this film and yeah I think the people who complain about how she acted have never had kids. Also with the stress the character was under and with it being a child did you expect to find a well adjusted and happy child? I think she was as normal as I expected the child to be under the circumstances. Thanks shellshock0714 and others who have some common sense and intelligence for showing up and trying to reason with people who just don't get it.

Just finished the film and was in awe of her acting actually! She stood perfectly fine with her adult co stars. She did a phenomenal job and wasn't in anyway annoying. They were lucky to find her!

I could not stand her or her mum

It is human nature for inexperienced people to come on here and make rude remarks about any child that appears in any movie, just as there will always be some clueless individual to make "worst movie ever threads" (for almost every movie ever made since the beginning of movies).

There is not much you can do about human nature except roll your eyes and slowly shake your head (which I am sure some people do almost constantly if they actually read typical IMDb threads).
