Good cinematography. Boring murder

I gave up in the middle of second episode. As it was going nowhere and would be drugged for forever. Nothing was happening apart everyone walking around like they are in some Epic Mysterious Intense Hollywood maniac-murder show and Some Breathtaking Revelation Is Gonna Happen Any Moment. And they are going and going and nothings happens.

They did good attempt to recreate style of Hollywood murder-mystery shows like True Detective and similar. I didnt even knew it was Australian show until someone parked on the other side of the road ))) So American it looked.

But the story itself was boring. Some boring teenage girl get murdered. Then they open investigation 20 yeas later again and we are shown flash-backs from the boring life of that girl. And we are introduced to group of teenagers she hanged out with before she died. And its either them or some random workers at the farm. Or who knows who. And then we have even more boring detective and grown up sister of that girl. And its even more slow and boring in present day.

So I checked out. If thats your thing, you like slow burning intense murder shows - then its for you. Its gorgeous to look at visually.
