A clear sign of money not resulting in quality

Non-existent confusing script. Wooden performances. Classic 100% evil (and stupid) villains.

The main character is claimed to be clear-minded, when he's most definitely not. All through the movie people detect him as the "100 year old guy" as if he had a sign saying that. Mixing in performances by foreign actors for no real reason just means they had more money than story to tell.

The only slightly interesting parts were the flashbacks, but they didn't hit the mark nearly as well as e.g. Forrest Gump.

Not even Robert Gustafsson is convincing, despite him doing excellent character roles before (in "Fyra nyanser av brunt" etc).

I'd rather watch Prometheus and Meet the Spartans mixed together in reverse 10 times, than this movie again, and I'm only exaggerating slightly.

And I'm a Swede.

And apparently a dour, stereotypical one at that!

The swedish Forest Gump.

For a better Swedish movie, also with life flashbacks:

It's not perfect by any means, but it has heart.
