To those who wrote "I dislike children" etc as a result of seeing this movie and very similar stuff.

Besides it obviously being on the wrong and the de-facto ignorant side, and besides the fact that this movie honestly did NOT intend to send that message across as well as actual statistics and sad harsh facts concerning actual and even child and even "you know of what kind" etc abuse matters in the world etc.

I said it before but thing is, wasn't it the ADULTS who in this movie were responsible for the ways in which the terrible situation for Lucas unfolded, with how poorly they handled it not to mention it was THEM and not kids who started to physically attack him, ostracize him and even threaten him with death and whatnot...

Even if you yourself don't like kids for whatever reason and after this movie feel proud to state you would rather not be involved with them even more so, is it not worth taking THIS aspect into account, if you watched this movie closely yourself.

And does it not surprise you personally that some folks not only don't think so but may take opposite position like Grethe did, protecting them and believing them literally at all costs without the aid of professional legal and otherwise investigation?

Plus, remember what Fyodor Dostoyevsky said about children and how deeply immoral it is to hurt them especially in one particularly perverse sort of way, that it could be seen not only as bad but even worse than perpetuating such an abuse on adults etc because kids are in general more weak and vulnerable among us. And this film's director Thomas Vinterberg even made at least one movie about actual child abuse as such in 1998 with "Festen" (aka "The Celebration").

Besides getting the message wrong. I also think there is much MORE to this movie overall and many OTHER reasons to appreciate and admire it than exercising one's personal grudge against kids, as in this movie, even IF in their name, it was the adults who caused all the massive trouble that they did. So why not direct some anger at ADULTS at least to an extent as well then? Cheers. :)
