Laughed quite a bit, especially the super serious convo about butt-rape...

I thought the entire scene that played out over prison butt-rape and the races responsible for it in prison was freaking hilarious.

I know some people didn't like how Dax's character was trying to be politically correct and trying to avoid racial stereotypes while still going neck deep in stereotypes and still being hilarious about the whole conversation.

The whole Liberal-messaging was annoying, though, and I had to knock some points off for that. I was hoping that the film would be a little closer to Stuber, insofar that Stu was a full-blown SJW and Bautista's character was a classic macho dude just trying to get things done the old fashioned way. At least that film recognized the middle ground in the end that being macho was still necessary to get things done in today's world.

I didn't like how in Hit and Run, Dax's character seemed kind of bada$$ but he had to give all that up to be with an ultra-uptight SJW chick, who I at least thought would become less wound up as the movie wore on and would better understand the need to have a masculine, head-strong man in her life, but the movie kind of had Dax's character saddled with undermining his own masculinity for her sake.

That Lincoln Continental was super awesome, though, and it's a real shame the way it was taken out. It would have been so much cooler if there was some way he could have managed to get her there in the Continental, maybe they encountered the guy hauling it away and he managed to get it back while it was parked at the gas station? Much like the rest of the movie, it seemed like a metaphor for emasculating the main character by taking away horse and chariot.

Still, the movie was pretty fun at some points, and I actually thought the scene of Bradley Cooper leashing that black guy was hilarious. There's no movie that could ever get away with that today.
