Total MORONS

I really wanted to like this movie. The premise seemed interesting but I was skeptical of how it could be made into a feature length movie. I was right to be skeptical. This was a waste of time for all involved, most importantly me, because I was dumb enough to keep watching it.

The acting was bad and got increasingly worse as time went on. The characters were total morons. If I saw the Amber Alert vehicle, I would stay on the phone with the cops, not go rogue and try to follow it myself. They had the perfect opportunity to alert police when the guy was at the gas station. Instead, the girl creeped around the car like an idiot. They could have told the store staff, they could have disabled his vehicle by way of slashing the tires, they could have knocked out the window and taken the girl out. Anything would have been better than what they actually did.

Stupid characters, stupid movie.

To be fair, they didn't know he was the molester until they heard him on the speaker, after they initially spoke to him.

When they found his home, they should have went knocking on all the neighbor's doors, making noise and raising hell and screaming "There is a child molester in that house!" They should've have gone inside like that.

And then when they find the girl in the cage, they took too much time getting the girl free. They had one of the guns. They should have lied in wait for the molester to return, shoot him (or hold him at gunpoint), then free the girl afterwards. They set themselves up to be ambushed / killed at the end.
