Worst guest ever?

Marilyn Manson is my top choice. Mindy Kaling is close behind

reply

I thought Chris Jericho was great, provided a lot of good insight. Have him on again.

reply

Agreed. Both were weird and painful to watch.

Manson Manson MANSON. The absolute worst.
JB Smoove was 2nd for me. Not near Manson's badness, but a train wreck, nonetheless.
I didn't think Mindy was awful, but she didn't add anything of value.

I didn't see the one with Marilyn Manson. I actually expected way more from Mindy Kaling (I love her!). JB Smoove was funny to me. However, my least favorite guest is the actress who plays "Maggie." I didn't watch the one with her and the actress who plays "Sasha" because "Maggie's" first interview was horrible.

You people are the disease, but I've got the cure. ~Morgan on "Chuck"

Lauren Cohan. So, I saw two with her, did she do a third? The first one I saw was this season after Scott Wilson's last show. She appeared with Scott Wilson, and he was actually not so hot, either. If you're referring to that one, you're right, she wasn't great there. I think her appearance with Sonequa was so much better that I just have to assume that she was overwhelmed with the fact that Scott was done and was upset. I dunno. Now, if she did another one last season, and she was bad there, then, yes, maybe she's a bad interviewee.

reply

I think Lauren Cohan is okay, she was sweet and pretty funny at Conan's TWD special.
I loved her appearance with Soniqua, mostly because of Chris Hardwick's reaction to them, and them totally playing along.

Of the ones I've seen and can remember, definitely have to agree on Manson. His answers were just all over the place. He wasn't making sense at all. You could tell the other guests were feeling awkward and Chris was taking subtle jabs at all his nonsense. He must have been on something that night, because normally when he's interviewed he carries pretty intelligent conversations.

Every time Scott Gimple is on the show it's cringe worthy. He's awkward and the questions always seem to be directed at him when he is on. I've seen him twice with Conan and Nathan Fillion and both times the guest just sits there and listens to Gimple *beep* for 22 minutes (ie "That scene from the season 5 opener was just like a scene from the Office! Hur dur!!"

Far and away, Scott Gimple. Don't care if he's a writer/showrunner or what ever, I wish they would keep him off the show.

reply

Hayley Williams from Paramour wasn't so great either.

reply

Marilyn Manson was BY FAR the worst guess. He had his head so far up his own arse it was unbelievable.

I just learned how to use the "Spoiler" button...
