Nice Movie and Enjoyable, Those Fake Historians Hate Entertainment

I found it very entertainment. I do not know about accuracy but the film seemed to have a good budget and there were some great laughable moments such as the sharks, but this movie was well done.

It was fast paced and Nic Cage was pretty good and sure some of the acting was hokey and laughable, but to say this movie was bad is wrong.

I see these Fake Historians(College Kids) commenting on this being inaccurate or the poor sharks being demonized is truly laughable.

Sorry but I am NO College kid and this movie is ridiculously inaccurate. When a movie claims to be based on a true story then turns out to be mostly fiction people tend to get riled up. Sorry if you don't like that.

Ok, then you should have more common sense if you are past college. It's a movie and entertainment. Go watch a documentary then because that is the only solution to any movie based on an event.

Really? Okay, then why didn't they set in in modern times and use aboriginal women from Australia to play all the men's parts? Why not have Supercar come in and save them all? Why not use rock music at the dance? It's a movie: If it's entertainment, as you say, then there's no rules at all, so why not have them speak Urdu for the whole movie?

See, there's no reason to spit on the men that died during the real event by representing it so piss-poorly and without any respect for history.

If Hollywood is going to base something on an actual event, then use the facts as the foundation- don't apply Pearl Harbor stupidity to it and change history. Those men died in the service of their country: we owe it to their memories' and their families to get it right.

I get tired of people criticizing Hollywood. If you don't like Hollywood then stop watching movies and start reading more books or TV shows for entertainment.

I did stop watching it, about 15 minutes in...

And if you think you get to tell me what I can and can't do, you can kiss my pigu.

PS: 4-5 books a week. Every week. Last one was "Spies of Warsaw." You?

reply

It was just a suggestion. Here's another. Stop watching movies altogether. I'm reading 3 books about screenwriting and two horror novels. I watch at least two movies a week as well.
