String of abusive boyfriends? Really?

Come on! There was no indication or information about this. I guess they have to add that to the story to some how justify the horrendous, mercenary act of drowning the Mother in this story. These girls posted everything (at the time) on the INTERNET of their intentions and even updated while waiting for the drugs to take effect and it was never about that. It was always about money and buying the things they wanted. Plain and simple. The fact that they are making this movie really ticks me off. The moral being? What? That after being caught you can spend four short years in juvi and then get on with your life while your mother no longer can? Sheesh.

For that matter- I always felt that the individuals that were 'in the know' about the plans and responding to the Internet posts should have somehow been held responsible. But I doubt it could have been pressed.
