I saw the first season IMDB picture/poster with the dead Amish. Then I began reading the synopsis for the show and decided to check it out.

I caught the fight between Hood and the English hitman one afternoon, and began watching it OnDemand.

We were on our way to Midnight Mass!

I was reading a take down of the current state of "The Walking Dead" and they mentioned the show runners\writers could take a lesson from "Banshee" on how to manage multiple story arcs. So I decided to check it out! Just finished ep 5 of season 3 and am beyond hooked and now beyond shocked. I know there is only a partial season 4 and I have heard mixed things about it (mostly the budget was cut and the show runners were looking to end the show as apparently Cinemax lost interest).

In my top ten regardless of fav shows.

My Dad bought my fiancé the season one DVD a couple of Christmases ago and I watched it with him. We love it!

True Detective s1 - Lili Simmons - IMDB - Banshee

Review of S1 in a Norwegian movie-mag. As soon as the reviewer compared it to Road House and Preacher I was sold.

I was a fan of Grantland and liked The Watch podcast with Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan.

They mostly talked about GOT, but would talk about other tv shows, and Greenwald talked about Banshee being fun to watch.

Grantland was dropped by ESPN, but thanks to Bill Simmons, and HBO, Greenwald and Ryan are now doing After The Thrones on HBO, along with The Watch podcast on the Ringer network.

Greenwald had Tropper on The Watch prior to the finale.

All of this.

Andy has introduced me to some of my favourite shows out there.

Late night channel surfing. The name looked appealing so I tried it and binged the first three episodes. Sold a to people on trying it. Naturally they loved it, except those who have a problem with violence.

May you receive all that Karma has to offer.

I had seen Cinemax have marathons over and over. It was so annoying that I decided to see what Cinemax liked about it. Thank god an annoyance led to something so amazing.
