In spite of people wanting to "protect the original", Bryan is perfectly cast in this.

He really has a great combination of a certain coolness and clear vulnerability going on.

The story itself has a bit dated storybeats to it, but it keeps focus and is genuinely interested in it's main characters. And New York remains amazing to look at.
