This was a comedy...???

I had no idea what was going on in this bizarre self indulgent film: I was treated to horrible student film level acting, unattractive actors and actresses, boring characters and morbid depressing interiors. This film certainly wasn't erotic, sexy or even funny.

I could forgive the unattractive cast if only the characters were interesting human beings, but they were nothing more than a bunch of whining, self absorbed navel gazers! Literally!

The characters were also quite stupid too, the 'erotic' act which one dumb woman tried in order to get off, bordered on suicidal!

The characters didn't seem to have jobs, they appeared to hang out at their residences mostly figuring out different ways to achieve orgasms. If their numerous ways to achieve to the-perfect-orgasm had been clever or comedic, the movie might have been fun, but the characters were all a bunch of boring, dour, depressed, self-absorbed mumbling twits.

Sundance had this mess listed as a comedy, there was nothing remotely funny, except two scenes which I won't spoil for viewers, other than that, there is absolutely nothing to recommend here.

As for the soundtrack, it was a Grade Z imitation of Echo and the Bunnymen!

A subtitle for this film should have been: "Sex: It Isn't Always Pretty or Fun"!

I found some of it very funny. For instance, the scene where Kate Lyn Sheil is cataloging to Amy Seimetz all the things that turn her on now, and the way Amy Seimetz just sits there with no reaction as the list gets more and more ludicrous. That made me laugh.
