Seriously People??? Already has a 4.7 Star Rating???

The film isn't due to be released until Jan 3rd (more than a month off) and the trailer has been posted for less than 2 hours and its already been rated by 104 people giving it a average of 4.7???

This movie could be awful but I would think everyone would, at the least, have the decency to see the film before rating it. And yet, 37 people have already given it a 1-Star Rating while 27 gave it 10-Stars!

And people wonder why the star rating system on IMDB is considered crap!

Were you rating the trailer?

Do you just hate/love De Niro so much that you'd hurl your star rating at him no matter what?

I mean seriously people...WTF???

Agreed.. also beyond people rating before seeing, over-reliance on 1's and 10's is way too common on this site. What kind of people only love or hate every movie they see? It's ridiculous. Majority votes for someone's movie collection should fall in the 4-8 range.

Based on the trailer, a 4.7 is generous. This looks absolutely awful.

This may be one case where the 1-star IMDB trolls didn't overreact enough!

Whoever wrote this needs to be caned by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. They know how to be clever and funny while being simultaneously insulting and crude.

4.7 is considerably higher than the 25% fresh it got on Rotten Tomatoes. It was higher than their audience score which is currently in the low 40%.

A trailer is supposed to make you want to see the movie even when it's an awful movie. I give the trailers I've seen about a 3, so what does that say about the movie? 4.7 may be optimistic.

dbags with a net worth of 200 million for pretending someone they aren't shouldn't presume to go around ranting and raving and maligning American voters.

So yes, this overpaid, out of touch, bloated, old dbag needs to just die.

I am usually extremely fair but his uninformed big mouth is why we have a divided country and you just don't get that people are TIRED of it.

Some people vote on the trailers, without ever seeing actual movies. There are lots of other reasons, as well. I agree it would be nice to have a pure poll, but that will never happen. Even the Academy awards include at least some less than truthful voting.
