Seems bad
Hope I am very wrong, but from the gameplay trailer something seems off:
- different artwork, and not in a good way
- voice acting is bad(at least concerning Wally, Otis and Stan)
- dialogue seems too simplified
A few characters are needlessly ugly because of the artwork but it's really not an issue, I got used to it within minutes of playing, the voice acting and dialog are both fine too. It’s really a fun game to play, easily the best Monkey Island game since 1997's Curse of Monkey Island!

I agree, got used to the art style also. Dialogue was ok. Yeah, it's best since curse.
Curse is my favourite too, it's one of those games in which when you finish an act you worry it's gonna end too soon.
But, I am sure that if they used same art style and atmosphere as CMI it would be much better.
The only thing I didn't like about CMI is that they made Guybrush look too lanky, other than that it remains the best art style of the series.
Glad to hear you enjoyed RoMI, it was fun to return to Mêlée Island again!
