1. Quack - I really liked what they did with this one. Very meta - very funny. (I thought this was what WTF wanted to be but failed at.)
2. Dogfight - Visually the best of the lot imo.
3. Nuptials - Thought this one was pretty cute. Simple, funny, and satisfying.
4. Klutz - I liked the animation in this one. The odd little story was amusing.
5. Libido - This is the only real "horror" short in my top 5. It was dark and strange and engrossing. The camerawork was really good as well.

I can't remember the actual letters. :(

The claymation toilet.
The opening segment.
The closing "Z" segment.
Fart
The jerking-off segment...which creeped me out...but I remember it vividly.

Quack was good, too.

1. Quack - I wasn't expecting that much from this one because these guys are hit and miss with me. But they made one of the few entertaining segments of the film. While F and Z tried way too hard and ended up being idiotic, this one had the right tone and execution to make it work. After so many exceedingly dull, moronic, and unenjoyable segments it was refreshing for Winguard and Barrett to be sort of taking the piss out of the whole anthology with the setup and the dialogue. And the humor wasn't hamfisted and obnoxious.

2. Vagitus - Utterly ridiculous with what may or may not be an overbearing self-righteous political agenda (The villain's dialogue concerning the "dead" baby screams "abortion is murder"). But somehow that doesn't matter. Because this is supremely entertaining dystopian sci-fi magical nonsense. The robot guy is awesome, the action is top notch (the best in the film), and the whole thing is so much more cohesive (visually, tonally, and narratively) and technically impressive than many of the other segments. And the murder/decapitation of the infant is only one-upped by the fact that his headless corpse promptly gets revenge in a Monty Python style attack sequence which is one of the easy highlights of the collection.

3. Unearthed - This one is simple enough but really well executed. The first person perspective makes for a different kind of engaging and leaves more to the imagination concerning the creature, making it that much more effective as an undead abomination while also placing a nice spin on the experience from the audience side. This segment excels because it uses the anthology format to its advantage, delivering horror in a concise and effective package in a style that benefits from the short run time (i.e. 2 hours of first person vamp action would certainly run dull) as well as the contrast. Some of the other shorts here could take several lessons from this one. It not only delivers, it doesn't overstay its welcome. Unlike, say, Pressure, which was excruciatingly dull and pointless and far, far too long.

4. Youngbuck - This one is hard to like, given the repulsive subject matter (a ubiquitous theme with this anthology). But the ending absolutely makes it. Hilarious, gory, triumphant and slightly unsettling. It sets up the anthology to end with aplomb, even though Z drops the ball immensely. And the musical score for this segment was certainly the best of the bunch.

5. Removed/Dogfight/Speed - Sorry, I know this is sort of cheating. But I couldn't decide which of these would stay and which would go. They all brought something to the table that the other segments did not (namely entertainment value). Dogfight is absolutely hilarious, and even a little bit moving. Removed is bizarre (as expected) and not quite revelatory (again, as expected) but well executed with solid effects, lots of great creepy photography, and a more satisfying narrative arc than is par for the collection. And Speed (although brief and a tad cliche in its premise) has more style, more energy, a better villain and a more engaging plot than most of the other segments. It wasn't quite on the level of my favorite bits, but it was a clear several classes above the rest.
