When it jumped the shark *spoiler*

OMG when he put that guys hand into the garbage disposal I really felt Frank crossed the line completely. That was just so over the top he should have gone to jail for that. In the following scene he just controls the husband with self defence. Surely he could have and definitely should have just done that with the previous guy. That was a real criminal act destroying that mans hand. Also I thought a bus chase was a bit stupid to, let alone playing chicken with buses. And the danger to people driving on the roads while they are speeding in the buses, and the destruction of peoples parked cars just crazy behaviour. I think the hand incident is where the movie jumped the shark for me.

They just should have had him taking on punks and actual gang members. Taking on Charles S. Dutton is when it jumped the shark. They had a great concept but they screwed it up. Just have Danny Trejo spend an entire movie beating up or killing Bloods or Crips or Bloods and Crips. Then end the movie with him sweeping up some trash or covering over some grafitti. That's all you need.

The fact that you can use Jump The Shark regarding this film truly shows you had no idea what you were watching.

Yeah, especially since it was based on a true story...

What's more bad ass than shredding someone's hand to ribbons in disposal? I can't think of much.

To say nothing of the fact that he had no reason to assume the guy had anything to do with the murder in the first place. So he finds a necklace at the scene, so what? That could have been dropped there before or after at any time. Or, even if it was dropped by one of the killers, could have been stolen. The story is thinner than Rizla.
