Series 6 is great

Loving the show but I must confess I think I have fallen just a little bit for Flora.
She is gorgeous, she has a wonderful accent, and she bakes like an angel.
Anyone else have a favourite?

It's only been 1 episode so far and I haven't learned all of their names just yet but I have a bit of a soft spot for Ruby. She seemed a little scatterbrained and she got so emotional when she made mistakes, just like I would have done. Plus I liked that one of the hosts referred to "Ruby's Rhubarb" in the 1st round.

I also liked Toby a lot. I swear every time the camera went to him, it seemed like he was putting more blue tape or bandages on yet another cut finger!! He maintained a sense of humor throughout the proceedings though.

***EDIT: I'm really confused by something (and you might be when you saw the names I mentioned in the paragraphs above). After reading a post in another thread (one that I started about the new season being on PBS) that he/she had watched the first 4 episodes of Season 6 on YouTube, I went there myself but found that what is labeled as Season 6 is NOT what I watched on PBS on September 6th. I didn't recognize any of the bakers from the YouTube Season 6. The season I watched in 2014 had the 17-year-old baker named Martha and that was listed as being Season 5 so I naturally assumed that what's airing on PBS this week was Season 6 but apparently it's not. What's going on here?

***ANOTHER EDIT: I just went back to YouTube and typed in "Great British Bake Off" (how it's listed on that site) "Ruby" and found that her season aired in 2013, which was apparently Season 4. I had found all of the previous episodes on YouTube and saved them in my Favorites but I hadn't gotten around to watching all of them yet and now they've been taken down. So I guess what's airing on PBS this week IS a repeat of a previous season (which the poster in my thread had mentioned). Obviously it was my mistake in saying that Season 6 was on PBS because they're apparently airing Season 4. That works for me since I didn't get around to watching it on YouTube. Sorry for the confusion (mostly mine).

The season numbers were changed for some reason when they were shown on PBS, and again on Netflix. Apparently the actual seasons 1 and 2 (2010 and 2011) are not available in any form, not even on DVD or YouTube.

I've finally watched Episode 1 of the REAL Series 6!! I found Episodes 1-6 on YouTube and am taking a break before I start E2. I think my favorite at this very early stage is Sandy... she has a very natural quality about her and I really like her sense of humor. I felt so bad for Dorret at the end of the Showstopper but it happens to the best bakers at one time or another.

**EDIT: I just finished watching Episodes 2-6 and I'm loving the show! Episode 7 hasn't been uploaded yet but hopefully it will soon.
