Outrageous lack of DIVERSITY

How on Earth can ITV get away with something like this? I was all settled to watch the first episode and twenty minutes in I am sitting there thinking to myself 'what the hell is going on? Are we just going to pretend that south Asian people don't exist?'.

What the hell is ITV playing at? Is exclusion of people from the south Asian and Afro-Caribbean communities acceptable in the twenty first century?! Absolutely not!

I have both written a very strongly worded letter of complaint and phoned ITV to lodge my views with them.

I too hope and assume that the original poster was joking. But for what it's worth, I believe the only Asians aboard were East Asians. There were seven Chinese sailors in third class, and a Japanese man in second class. And there was one Haitian aboard. Joseph Laroche was travelling in second class with his white wife and their two daughters.

There were numerous Irish and Italians. This was very unpleasant, and I had to turn my head during these scenes.

I could care less, but I don’t care enough to bother.

Are you a moron? Or just a forum troll?

reply

Are you kidding me? I'm Asian and I say that didn't make this series any less wonderful than it was.
If you're so keen on seeing asian faces, there are loads of good japanese, korean and chinese movies to choose from.
