serious porn scenes
i dont like this movie for this
shareWhy? Do you like boys?

I'm a straight guy, but seriously I think the lesbian intimacy was totally unnecessary.
shareI disagree with you, sir. Lesbian intimacy is paramount to this movie's success.

I love what you said, yeah in a movie like this, a slasher horror film you need a lot of sex and nudity, I'm just joking, but nudity and sex help!
shareexactly because it makes the hardcore violence level out and balance out. without those scenes the movie would be overwhelmingly violent. and without those scenes the movie wouldn't be anywhere near as awesome!
sharethose scenes were so amazing and awesome. i mean you would have to be extremely jaded and desensitized to sexiness and nudity to not be sexually turned on by those scenes. also those scenes were needed to balance out the extreme violence in this movie. this movie has to have those scenes because the violence is so graphic, so brutal, so explicit that we need some reprieve from the violence with these scenes. even a hardcore horror movie junkie would be really affected by the hardcore violence in this movie. they go too far.
shareim a woman so why not

I agree... when I want serious hillbilly cannibalistic gore, why must they throw in lesbians?! Only straight people should be eaten alive and tortured damnit!
Seriously though, the turnoff of the movie that starts with a man being drawn and quartered with razor wire is women kissing? It would be strange if you had a problem with nudity in these types of films but to be specific to lesbians being intimate while the straights are going at it left and right smacks of a phobia of epic proportions. Since slasher films first appeared in the 70's, there has been nudity and sex (actually it was much more explicit in the 70's) so it can't be that nudity offends you, just female on female relationships. You might want to consider what it is that so bothers you about two people of the same sex being in a relationship that is wrong but murderous inbred cannibalistic monsters slaughtering people is good wholesome fun... just sayin.
Not meaning any disrespect but I used to manage video stores and never understood why people who had no problem with torture, violence, language and murder but got so offended by breasts (or in this case four breasts interacting with each other). I always thought that the value system in this country was completely out of whack.

Are you arguing that fans of gore must also be fans of nudity and soft-core lesbian scenes?
sharePeople like you make absolutely NO SENSE at all. You obviously have no problem watching a man be drawn and quartered, a woman beheaded and pull from her body, or a man cooked and eaten alive, all shown in graphic, gory, lengthy detail --- but the sex scenes are why you don't like the film. Graphic, disgusting violence is okay ... but sex isn't?
Jeez. Give me a huge break.
And besides, the sex in the film were NOWHERE near "serious porn scenes." It's pretty apparent you have never seen a porno film. The sex in this film was so obviously simulated it wasn't even as graphic as most people have made it out to be.
The ONLY reason so many people think the sex in this film was so graphic is because it was between two women, and they're not used to seeing that in their sheltered, backwoods, droll little lives. Sex between women? Ooooooooh, shocking!

@ patrickblind2 "Only straight people should be eaten alive and tortured damnit!"
so you think only gay people deserve to survive horror movies?
I have spent almost a year pondering your statement and trying to come up with a good answer... (actually I was going through profiles and just saw this response... my bad) The truth is that whoever keeps their head together should survive. Not killing them when they were in the cell is reason for the death of any or all of them. Falling asleep when guarding them is reason for the death of that person. When you make stupid decisions in life or death situations you deserve the consequences of that action or inaction. Watch the movie "Severance" which is a brit horror/comedy (a pretty good one too). In it, one of the survivors and her friend take down one of the bad guys. He goes to walk away, she picks up a large rock and proceeds to crush his skull into paste... she has earned the right to survive, he did not.
Also, I don't know how serious you were but how many gay people are actually in horror movies? And I don't mean bicurious women who are doing it for the titillation of the menfolk, but real lesbian and gay characters... I imagine it is well below the 12% rate that actually exists in the real world. Not crying foul or anything, just being realistic.

NO BODY LIVES! Duh
shareExactly OP. This content is what ruined the movie. If people want to see this stuff there's plenty of sites online. They can be on one within about 30 seconds if they wanted to. Stop ruining movies like this by insisting on using smut. It serves no purpose other than to please the pubescent teens. There's more than that crowd that watch these sorts of movies!. Adding content like this usually means the movie is suffering in some way and they use it to distract the viewer or to draw certain types in. It's pathetic. Go surf the net for sex or go find some one for it. Leave it out of the movies. It only spoils the movies.

A lot of horror movies have sex in them and 99.9% of the time it's unnecessary.
A lot of recent horror movies seem to have girl-on-girl action, it's not because it's necessary to show, just gratuitous, catering to the guy audience. It's not there to make a statement, it's just T and A and two girls getting it on.
I wish they'd put the thought, time and effort into the plot and actual horror rather than porn fantasies.

what horror movies have girl on girl action nowadays?

Huh? what's wrong with lesbians? why are you only pointing out at the lesbians making out and not the other couple? nonsense.
sharei agree
if they film horror with soft porn scenes - they should film soft porn and in fact show more than this.
