Hi all,
I've just watched the movie but could not understand much about Mackenzie Davis' character.
I guess she is a prostitute that first met K and offered her services, but why did she and her friends singled him out in the multitude?
Later when she spends the night in his home, what kind of device did she steal? And how did that device end up in Luv's hands?
In the end, she is with the replicants underground organization. Was she there all along?
I'd really appreciate if someone can enlighten me a bit.

She was a replicant...

Freysa, with the missing eye, explained that the replicants were forming a rebellion.

Freysa originally had the prostitutes to attract Joe's attention -- remember when he was at the table, she told them to go pick him for info. The other two left when they found out he was a Blade Runner.

After Joi hired the replicant prostitute, before the prostitute left (the same one that Freysa had to speak to Joe when he was at the table) she placed a tracker in his bag.

Her objective was always to get close to him and lead him to the resistance, which eventually happened.
