Maggie not wearing the gas mask in the methane sewer?

Some writer probably thought it made the character appear tough and strong but she came off as incredibly dumb. She put herself and everyone else at risk.

It reminded me of when they had Alicia cut her own arm off in FTWD. It looked really tough but also it was comically stupid that she accomplished it without passing out from blood loss and pain.
