Bullying is OK in this movie? *Spoilers?*

So I watched this movie without knowing what I really got myself in to some days ago.
I did see The Lighting Thief and I thought it was okey but nothing more.

But with this move I got some really strange feelings from a 2013 kids movie.
So my 2 main problems was the two female lead actors and their characters:

1. Annabeth was a freaking bully through the whole movie, And she bullied Tyson for his cyclop eye for no reason at all. This really made me dislike this piece of *beep* Annabeth character.

2. Clarisse seemed to be a nice character at the start but early on she acted just like an bully herself and through the movie she really pissed me off with her cocky attitude against Tyson while trying to be pretty. Yes sure some cyclop bashed down her sister? when they were younger but that does not make ALL cyclops to murderers, Tyson did not really look evil at all and he was invited to the camp because he was half brother with Percy so why would she even think that Tyson would be brutal murderer?.

Do these characters also bully humans because they might look different or because they are a part of mankind that kill other humans for no real reason at all, Or is that different?

Yes it might be childish to comment on this but it really gave me the chills that some directors actually think it is ok to let both the nice girl and the not so nice girl, Bully and make people feel bad about themself until these people prove that they can be useful in some way or another.

I have not read the book but whatever stands in some book don't make up for this *beep* being in a movie that clearly was made for an younger audience.

I was thinking the same thing watching this movie. Annabeth's friend Thalia was killed by cyclops so she lives her life thinking all cyclops are vicious and dangerous. So she treats Tyson with the utmost disrespect and contempt even though he is Percy's half brother. It's not until the end when Annabeth thinks that Tyson redeems himself by sacrificing his life and then saving Percy from Luke that she begins to accept Tyson. When the reality is that Tyson doesn't have anything to redeem himself for.

It doesn't make sense that in a camp full of weird half bloods, grover is a satyr with goat's legs, that a nice guy with one eye gets treated so badly just because of the color of his skin... I mean just because he has one eye.

As for Clarisse, she was totally annoying and I didn't care for her at all.

What's sad OP is that l how many people on here are making excuses for the bullying even comparing Tyson to animals like a pitbull to justify the girls bullying ignoring that half of him is the same as the two bullies.

Fact is of the genders were reversed and it was two boys biltong a girl she would've stood up for herself and hit both make characters but as usual the make character isn't allowed to put them in their needed place.

The whole film was lazy stereotypical writing and tout mustn't upset the feminist
