I'm seeing a lot of posts here about how good this movie is. Well guess I'll just add to it. The first I saw this I thought it was just passable entertainment. Gave it 7 out of 10. I just recently re watched it and it was great! How tightly constructed it was, how simple and evolving the plot was, the cool (almost) realistic action scenes, how all the characters support the plot, and Chris Evans firm but honest performance. Now 9 out of 10. Next to the first Avengers I'd say this is the best MCU film.

Agreed. I like it better than 1 and 3! It was a fresh take on the MCU. It delivered!

Even though I'm a DC devotee, this is one of the best action movies and I watch it just about every time I surf by! On FX as I post! I just question the one scene when TWS blasts Cap into the bus, and a truck runs into it practically at the same time! Him flying through the window shouldn't have caused that accident!   

Winter Soldier is one of my favorite comic book movies for the reasons that you mentioned.

It is very rewatchable, which is rare for a suspense thriller.
