How did Tris not know Four was Tobias, Marcus' son? If their dads worked together, how did their kids not intersect? If he's 18 he made his transition two years ago so...WTH?

Marcus made Tobias stay at home so he wouldn't embarres (sp?) him in public.

You're welcome. I don't believe it's mentioned in the film, but it's quite clear in the book "Four".

Tobias had become estranged from his father and, as such, did not want anyone to know his past.
