This has got to be up there as one of the most overrated shows of all time. Other than the rape all of the "reasons" was typical high school bullshit that goes on all over the country. Hardly anything to kill yourself over. And lets be honest the ONLY reason she killed herself was because she was raped. So making all these tapes and blaming these other kids made no sense. Hannah was an attention whore who just wanted to make excuses and blame others for how shitty her life was (which really wasn't that bad before she was raped).

Also are they really going to make a season 2? Wtf else is there to tell? The girl is dead. The story is over.

It was good for the first 10 episodes because I thought there was gonna be a kewl twist, like all of the stupid, main characters were actually dead and in some sort of weird, teenage limbo for idiots. Obviously, that wasn't the case. It was pathetic. Hannah felt that the world revolved around her and that everyone should read her mind. She was a scatterbrain who made bad decisions, used poor judgement, and blamed everybody but herself for her problems.

Yeah as I was watching I kept telling myself something is going to happen that gets me to sympathize with Hannah because theres no way they are going to make her this unlikable. But low and behold they did. I really don't understand what the writers were going for when they wrote her character. Were we supposed to hate her by the end of the show? Because thats exactly how I felt towards her in the end.

i didnt even get to the rape part
got annoyed by the high school drama after 2 seconds..
maybe netflix should make some shows with adults, and not marvel superpower bullshit

So you're complaining about Netflix making marvel superpower bullshit shows on the board of a Netflix show that isn't marvel superpower bullshit? Makes no sense.

I got annoyed by the high school drama, but I persisted till the end. It gets better when the serious crimes start to emerge. It starts like a typical high school drama but gets darker and darker by the episode. First episodes are somewhat misleading because the show starts as a bullying case, but ends up as a [spoiler]rape[/spoiler] case, and that's completely different kind of animal.
