?'s about "staging"

I'm new to watching these home improvement shows and I have a question about staging.

What happens to the items bought for staging? Are they sold with the house if the buyer wants them? If not, are they put in storage?

The items used for staging are rented, not bought, and usually provided by professional staging companies. However, on Property Brothers, they are not staging the houses for sale; they're furnishing them for clients who have already purchased the properties.

There is a lot of sleight of hand in "staging".

Tiny bedrooms get a bed, a bedside table, and a chest. Period. No room for chair, lamp, blanket chest, dresser, or anything else.

How useless to show a dining table with napkins, place settings, and goblets for six?

How unreasonable to put upholstered furniture outdoors on a patio>

How totally stupid to put a TV above a fireplace. Expensive electronics don't do well with heat problems.

At least the idiot decorators have stopped putting carpet in kitchens.

I've noticed they put a full-size or queen-size bed in the master bedroom, to make the room look bigger. Never a king-size. I'd actually rather see a house in good order but empty, so I could visualize my own stuff and my own style. I suppose there are people who have trouble doing that, though.

they put so much stuff in those houses to make it look pretty but in reality you all that crap laying around is useless and in the way
