Show Pairings Annoyance

Anyone else actually not like the inevitable couple pairings of this show? I never liked Schmidt and Cece. 2 vapid people who contribute nothing to each other.
And I could NEVER stand how early on they hinted at, and then ultimately matched up Jess and Nick. I just didn't buy it. Sure, Nick clearly had the hots for her from the beginning. But Jess had so many other better partners during the series.
Plus it's just an unappealing and incompatible match. He's an insecure depressed burnout. With no goals, no ambition, no positivity, no good vibes. She needs those precise qualities he's lacking.
