ASKING ALL GUYS: Would you...

... be friends in real life with a girl like Jess?

Just wondering because she's not your classic "one-of-the-boys" type of girl, in any way at all really. She's very girly, nosy, interferes in all of their lives constantly, can be annoyingly quirky and weird, sings all the time and says awkward things often. None of these qualities/attributes seem like they would appeal platonically to a male, unless that male were gay. She's quite irritating and full-on, and I feel honestly that in real life most men would avoid her unless they wanted to sleep with her, are gay or are likeminded enough to her to tolerate and appreciate her.

reply

Yeah i'd maybe sleep with her but i definitly couldn't deal with her as a friend as she's just grating

reply

I'd date her and be friends with her, she's quirky. But she honest and does everything trying to be good.
I seem to meet many girls who are selfish and lie that you can't trust

reply

I am going to be honest.

I would be friends with her to try to date her, since she is hot. But after about a week I would say nuts to the whole thing and try to get away. I if I had to pick between hanging out with Cece or her . On just a friendship level I would pick Cece everyday of the week and 4 times on Sunday. And Jess is a horrible needy person.

reply

Nope. Coach and Cece are the only two I could tolerate, and not if they are having the other as main people in their lives.

I get being quirky and having inside jokes which are childish and idiotic, but there is also a time to grow up. These people are all well past 30 and yet Winston can't introduce himself in a normal way, Nick can't step over a pile of clothes....

reply

if she was my roommate I would tolerate her *beep* as long as she paid rent on time, I can still enjoy my tv shows and she didn't hangout with me when I'm with my friends.

reply

Not the way Jess is, no. But I strongly dislike her as a character (at least the last few seasons). I could see myself being friends with a quirky girl who's girly and nosy, but Jess is just ugh.
