From what they show on camera, David and Jenelle seem to be a good couple. They don't fight much.
It's not a vicious relationship like she had with Nathan. David seems to really love Kaiser as well.

Don't know if he's too good to be true (like Cole seems to be), but he seems ok. You have to wonder though about his relationship with his other two baby mommas. He's never been married & is not with those women so what happened there?

shareThere's a restraining order against him from seeing his son. He beat his kid's mom into pre-term labor, so he hasn't been allowed to see the kid. He saw the kid in public recently and approached/touched him so he's been found guilty of violating the order and has appealed the 60-day prison sentence that awaits him. Kid has no idea who he is at all and yet David posts things to Instagram like "love you Kaden, see you soon!"
Personally, I think there's no intense fighting between Jenelle and David (yet...a baby can shake things up) because there's no passion. He got a cash cow and she got a guy to try to make Nathan jealous. Nathan didn't get jealous, now she's got a kid, and I think she feels immense pressure to stay with David to "prove" to the "haters" that she's "stable" and "happy"--even though she's not in love with him. In any post on social media where she's going on and on about him, she never mentions any spark or attraction--only that he's a great father figure to her kids (read: she doesn't have to take care of them).
He seems slightly controlling to me. There's just something off about him. I don't think he would be healthy for her in the long run and help mend the relationship with her mother or help her be a better person.
shareControlling, jealous (tried to make Jenelle talk to Nathan only through him for a while there), and constantly keeping Jenelle riled up about her custody issues and such. If they enjoy each other's company and are happy together, more power to them. But he really does seem controlling and dangerously dumb. If I were Jenelle I wouldn't want to be way out in the woods alone with him all the time.

You have to wonder why a decent guy would want anything to do with Jenelle though?? And he does have a criminal record and non access to one of his kids.

Also I think you're missing the fact that he beat his previous girlfriend into early labor, and now has a restraining order against both her and their son.
I hadn't heard that about David, but I just looked it up and found his in the article:

Yeah sounds like someone I'd want to isolate myself with. Not to mention let around my children.

He seems very controlling, he's rude and disrespectful toward her mother, and he baits her into getting worked up about custody. My prediction is that he's gone within a year, just like the other two guys. The only ones I feel for are the poor kids.

No he's totally controlling.
They were only dating for a few weeks and he was trying to control her interactions with Nathan. "If he wants to talk to you, then he can text me". Wtf? He convinces her that it's for her protection. She complies because it will annoy Nathan. Really, he just wants to make sure they remain at odds, and he wants to flex for Nathan and establish control.
He was takiing it upon himself to step in and actually monitor Nathan's visits with Kaiser. Who does that? "Oh I'm the new bf and I know we haven't met, but I'm briging your kid to you. Oh, and I'm staying to watch you because I'm not leaving your kid alone with you". Meanwhile, he doesn't have any custody or rights to his own kids. Who the fnck is he? Jenelle went along with it because she thought it would piss Nathan off. But Nathan is better at mind games than she is, so he didn't show that he was upset about it or resist in the moment. He just went along with it and probably punched a wall later when he got home.
David is always egging her on with her mom. Always. He barely knew Jenelle, he doesn't know her mom, yet he's stepping in trying to tell them all how it should be. A decent guy would stay out of all that drama because it's not his place. Especially mere weeks/months into a relationship.
He doesn't hold her accountable for anything. Everyone else is just trying to ruin her life. He keeps perpetuating that lie so that he can make her feel like he's the only one in her corner.
I'm not defending Nathan, btw. He is a manipulative psycho and a complete assh*le. He was always arguing with Jenelle, and he disrespected Babs as well. I don't think he really wants Kaiser. He just wants to make Jenelle's life harder. But David is a quiet creep and he has rage lurking beneath the surface.
No decent guy with anything positive going on would ever be with her. Period. Any guy who decides to date her has issues himself. I see this relationship ending. I think she will be with David longer than she has been with anyone else, but it will still end fairly early. And it will be very ugly when it does.
You nailed it Dollhouse_89. On the money! She really needs help. As much as I don't care for her, I don't want her or her children to get hurt. David is a very disturbed man.

I think all of the guys she has been with are losers. Nathan showed potential but in the end was just a jealous, insecure freak like her. David is insecure and jealous and is doing a wonderful job isolating her from everyone and everything. Hello? House in the woods? I hear banjos playing when he beats her so no one hears her screams. If you notice, the other girls have friends and social lives outside of the kids and their men. She doesn't. She had friends on 16 and pregnant but they have all but disappeared. You don't even see Tori anymore. She was at least around before, during and after Nathan. Now that Jenelle is with David, it's pretty much just the two of them and the kids.
