Jonathan Ross...where are you??
Alyson Hannigan you were funny on "How I Met Your Mother", but this show unfortunately is NOT your forte!
She is wooden in her presentations and acts as if this is her first job in show business!
Stop reading the cards, or at least learn your lines! It reminds me of "Saturday Night Live!"

It was her first crack at it and in a few places she was pretty funny. She was absolutely hilarious during Shawn Farquhar's presentation, and that was her first one. I liked Ross too, but he was so good at doing the show that anyone replacing him is going to look bad in comparison at first. Give her a chance.
shareI agree that while she may not be a good host..yet. She has gone on record saying that this is really her first hosting gig. Hey, she's got to start somewhere. She said that she was surprised she was offered the gig, but also said that she's a huge fan of magic which makes her the perfect patsy of a host.
Additionally, she probably could call upon Neil Patrick Harris for tips on hosting duties as well as magic itself, since he was once president of The Magic Castle.

Ross brought that cheeky self deprecating British wit and was more proper. Alyson is more loose and cutesy. Basically both of them just use their natural personalities in the hosting role. It's apples and oranges.

I missed the first two episodes of Season 3. I just saw the first five minutes of ep3. Aly Hannigan seems like a little girl screaming at the crowd trying to be heard.
Johnathan Ross is as much a part of this show as P&T. It's been said that it was a scheduling conflict. If that's the case, They should have postponed filming.
I don't see why they would postpone the show just for the host that's barely even on there to be available. Maybe they will take turns or something or maybe have them both host it. It would have been better for him to be the assistant on the naked straightguy though, sure he would have some better reactions and lines than Alyson just hiding her face like she's 12 and never saw a penis before.

I admit Alyson appears a little awkward in the host role, but I'd rather look at her than Jonathan Ross.

Plus Jonathan Ross is so funny and perfect in the role as he's an experienced host

I recorded a previous episode on DVR and it suddenly occured to us that every show has her wearing the SAME dark blue dress!
I went through past episodes just to be sure! Same dress, every show!??
Why? Can the show not afford a bigger wardrobe budget?
I noticed the dress was the same too. Gosh even I can afford to go to Old Navy or something and get a different dress! Not her fault and Penn and Teller get different suits once in a while.

shareI like them both so I'm not really bothered with the change. Jonathan is a bet more cleverer with his line presentation it seems and after seeing Alyson act like she'd never seen a dong before was kinda weird. But she's cuter than him at least.
