Most networks, even if they plan on canceling a show, will allow the show to have a full season. I don't know why ABCFamily chooses to order their shows in half seasons. We have seen several times over that this method is a failure. Obviously, here. Also Ravenswood was cut after 10 episodes. I mean why even put the time and money into it? It seems like a waste. It's a waste of money, a waste of time, a waste of the viewers viewership to invest their interest and an hour of their week to follow this story line and these characters just to be left on the edge never to get the answers we want. Most networks order full seasons (20+ episodes) and take a break over the new year holiday. Usually this is when they decide whether to grant the show a new season or cut it. That way the producers know ahead of time and allow the writing staff time to wrap up the series by the end of the season. But I think it's super unfair to everyone involved in the making of the shows and the fans of the shows to be hold us out on a string then leave us dangling there while they decide whether or not they want to give us another half season. At the very least order the last ten episodes say it's the last and let the story wrap up. I think you will save fans that way because I see a lot of people who are not giving ABCFamily their attention anymore because, what's the point?
But what boggles my mind are the teenagers who STILL invest in the new shows ABCFamily throws out there. Then they complain that their shows keep getting cancelled. ABCFamily thrives on the success of PLL and keep trying to find that next cult hit, but all their other shows seem to always come up under the radar (mostly due to their lack of promotion) and so they cut it and move on to the next show hoping that maybe this one will draw in the viewership that PLL has. When the show was in the balance hoping for the second half of the season, every single person in the cast stated that the ratings for the new shows (twisted and Fosters at the time) were what was going to determine the fate of TLG's future and to not watch the new shows, but like little sheep they all went and watched the new shows and thus cutting TLG short. Then they ran around like chicken's with her heads cut off when Alex posted the cancellation on her IG when they warned us that this would happen. It makes no sense. I can't see how anyone still supports ABCFamily when they cut shows left and right. I don't know any other network that produces and cuts shows as fast as ABCFamily.
I will be surprised to see how long This new "Chasing Life" show will last. Just in the last year or so, I can think of four shows that ABCFamily has cut after only a season or two. They have no faith in their shows unless they immediately draw in the attention that PLL has gained. It's ridiculous.

You got it right. Though I dont live in America I figured out that ABCFamily is as conservative and goes for the money as possible. All this nice play is b..... because they have no respect for their fans.
But a few shows are really good. I like the Fosters and PLL is not bad either (though I didnt watch it because I want to see how long this will be airing).
Which channel is behind satisfaction? I havent read good comments. I hope its good and it becomes its chance because I love to watch a show with Blair again.
And it an adult role it must be really ....satisfying.

I think Satisfaction is on USA network.
Yeah, I won't give ABCFamily the satisfaction (see what I did there?) of my viewership. The problem is their main market are teenagers and teens move onto the next thing as fast as ABCFamily throws it out there. There's no loyalty, but then they complain when their shows are cancelled on a whim mid-season on a major cliff-hanger.
