Dont understand why some people are hating on this film, I thought it was very good, very technically correct and well done. Is it just a case of there will always be some negativity towards anything that is politically motivated

If "Argo" is your yardstick for "authenticity"
, and you trust Hollywood to provide you with your historical documentation,then you truly have the simple, pure, unsullied mind of a child.
For starters, it went for too darn long -- especially for this type of movie.
Also, it lacked suspense for movie reviewed as a "high voltage thriller", characters were unlikable (Maya was so annoying), too many redundant usage of F-words (they made the characters seem like hormonal teenagers), inconsistencies and drawn out sequences...
