Hypocrites

Anybody else think these people were extremely hypocritical? First the parents were against their kid's gambling and then when they started making money they were OK with it. They said that they were stealing from the casinos because casinos falsely advertise. Yeah, right... And then they kick out the "non-believer" because God told them he was stealing.

Great documentary but these guys were a little ridiculous IMO.

Totally agree, these people are hypocrites of the worst kind and the documentary was ridiculous. Seriously.

As others have said, their rationalizations are pathological. No one other than professional gamblers (ie people who have techniques to defeat the house advantage) goes to a casino thinking they are going to win big. People go to have fun. It's entertainment. So their little Robin Hood ethos is non-sense. And it is even more non sense beccause they are lining their pockets! They didn't set up a foundation and use the money won or part of the money to do good works. nope they just lined their pockets.

I hope the IRS gets them, cause you know they think they are above the laws. you know they are not declaring any of this otherwise they would have "company" bank accounts then no need to sneak cash through airports like you're some kind of drug mule. They are the type of "Christians" who think that because they believe in Jesus they can do whatever they want all the time and either rationalize it because God is "speaking to them" or just say I'm sorry get washed of their sins and turn around and do the exact same thing again.

They have NO understanding of Christianity at all. These self proclaimed pastors who've never actually gone through proper religious studies are totally unfit to shepperd anyone: their moral compass is inexistant.

These people really disgust me.

Reminds me of the religious zealots who kill abortion doctors. They somehow justify their behavior to fit their wants...all in the name of their god.

Most extreme religious people are.

HYPOCRITE was the first word that came to mind when I encountered this.

Why not start a whore house with an extensive supply of drugs and alcohol. Why not an abortion clinic, or a gay dating service? It's in the name of the Lord, so it's OK.

Still, it's easier than starting a megachurch, which is the normal way they make a lot of money.
