Why Disney bothered to release this DVD series is unknown to me

When you get the general picture everything Disney Princess attracts little girls and turns into a best seller but I cannot understand what Disney was thinking of when they made the Disney Princess DVD line and starting with this first volume of the Disney Princess Stories series this proves it was downhill. For example each DVD has an intro of a child's bedroom with a child's voice talking while a jewelry box appears with a charm bracelet in this DVD's intro while the princesses come out of the charm bracelet and talk to the child. But the stories are recycled episodes of The Little Mermaid TV Series and Aladdin The Series and Disney should've added more stories rather than recycling the cartoon episodes. Why this series was even made was so they could promote the If You Can Dream music video and song because that seemed to be the highlight of this DVD. While the other DVDs in the series repeat the same thing except for a different Princess music video and song called Where Dreams Begin. This Disney Princess DVD series seemed like a moneymaker for them to attract new Disney Princess fans but if you want a better DVD get the Disney Princess Enchanted Tales DVD
