What other food documentaries would you reccomend?

I don't really want to see any alarmist documentaries about factory farming. I guess what I would like are cooking documentaries? Maybe just positive food movies. I recall liking Botany of Desire as well.

I hear you, when i search for food documentary all i get is alarmist documentaries.

I watch the series "man vs. food", if you don't mind regular, non-fine dining.

though i admit, i don't care for the part where he competes to finish enormous amounts of food, usually episodes have two parts, the second part is when i lose interest.

check out Michelin Stars - The Madness of Perfection. It was a BBC special a few years ago.

And the mouth-watering 1984 Danish Oscar winning film Nanette's Feast. Also not a doc, but an ode to the pleasure of food!

It's called Babette's Feast, not Nanette's Feast.

The Hundred-Foot Journey (a movie, not documentary)
