What's the end game with Sam? (SPOILERS)

They're playing up this whole thing with her possibly becoming a killer, with Billy being her dad and when she kills she goes frantic and seems to really enjoy it.

Surely they'll not actually make her one of the Ghostfaces in a future sequel? It would be very unusual to build up a 'final girl' only to make them the baddie in the end.

If they're not going to do that then I'm not overly sure what the point of the whole character arc would be. Just a big tease and fakeout? Character development, to make her a complex character who has some homicidal urges deep down but will ultimately over come it?

Making her one of the ghost face killers eventually would actually be a really good twist and unexpected. You rarely see twists like that happen.

Or to find out in the end she really did orchestrate then whole thing in Scream 5 and was behind it all.

Then kills her sister and then kills herself. Thus ending the cycle of trauma and murder sprees.

Until someone inevitably makes a scream 8.9 and 10 with a cast of new characters

Of course that won’t happen but it would a shocking and pretty good twist to end this set of the 3 new scream films

I actually hope they have the balls to make the 'final girl' the final baddie. It would be cool and unexpected. They're hinting at it but given how unusual it would be to do something like this it would still be a shock if it happened.

Ever since Roman in Part 3 said maybe Sidney just finally snapped, I've been hoping Sidney would become a killer. So maybe they're going that route with Sam.
