What was his name?

Maybe I missed this...

When the motel owner glances at Evans' character's credit card, he makes a comment about his unusual name. Evans responds with some line about his father. He then makes a comment how he likes the number 8 because it's the same sign for 'infinity (actually turned on its side, but, otherwise, yes).

Later, the motel owner recognizes the unusual name again on the stolen credit card and calls the cops.

Did we ever learn the name of Evans character? I assume that it was some play on the name of the Devil?

The line about his father was that his father liked historical reference. So he was likely named after a historical figure. I know someone a few years ago on this board hypothesized that it was something like Napoleon.

So, I’m just going to throw my guess out here since there might be a sequel someday with a big reveal. But when he said that his dad was big on historical references and he was a psychopath, I thought Jack Ripper.

I don’t give a damn what his name was. He was cool. So is this movie.
