We could see that Peter was immediately smitten by Sofia at first sight and both share a passion for herbs. We again see Peter taken with her in the dance barn.

So what the hell was Inge thinking by leading Peter on when she was obviously in love with Laust more because they both have spent more time together. Back in the beach when she kissed both, a dejected Peter walking away looked like he was ready to concede Inge to Laust but then Inge reeled Peter back in. So thanks a lot Inge you greedy wench.

And what the hell was wrong with Peter willing to share a girl with his own brother when beautiful Sofia was right there. Threesome with your brother is gross.

I think the betrayal and going behind his back is what hurt Peter. If Inge and Laust confronted him, Peter would've turned to Sofia earlier.
