I know the actor is 27, but he looks a lot older than 27 to me I'd believe you if you told me he was 37...he just seems way too old for the part and it is kinda creepy.

shareHaha! I think everyone looks "super old" when your a child or teenager. As an adult, I thought he looked early 20's at the most (with a hot Native American look). His character was a young man, of about 19, in college; he was not supposed to be a twink looking kid with a skateboard. Although tall and muscular, his face and skin were youthful. Definitely a mature guy that was supposed to provide perspective, wisdom, and emotional support to her character.
While the actress was 21 when this filmed, she did look her age even though she was supposed to be 17. So, whatever. They played their characters well and were meant to be about 2 years apart.
Perhaps if you watch this film after you turn 30, and you'll realize how young he really looks.

The guy looked mid 20s to me. I didn't get any creepy vibe since it seemed like they had a natural chemistry.
