Is This Really as Grotesque as People Say?

I'm not sure if I should watch this movie, is it really as gory and grotesque as people say? I read the synopsis and Wikipedia, and it does seem to have some extremely vile content in it, but I don't know if that's overstated or not. I'm not a huge horror movie fan, as I don't like to dwell too much on the dark and violent side of existence, but I'll watch them once in a while if they're intense and scary enough. I've seen the Saw series, will I regret it if I see this movie?

To OP: It's gory but honestly the first one is far more disturbing imo. If you were able to handle the first one, than this sequel shouldn't be a problem, if you had trouble with the first one, then maybe avoid it.

Personally I found the first hard to watch at points but found the sequel massively more enjoyable.

The only thing that ever bothers me in horror or extreme-horror films is when someone is being dragged across a floor and they claw at the ground and lose a fingernail. I'll look away if I know it's coming. That, and the scene from "Neighbor" when America Olivo has a bit of fun with a glass twizzle stick. So, so nasty...

I just watched the first 15 minutes. Now that's what I call a massacre!
If you don't like gore, avoid this.

While I don't necessarily disagree- Saw isn't a fraction as gory as this.
Saw really isn't all that bloody at all.

It's bloodier than this. And I'm not talking about the original 'Saw' I'm talking about the franchise.

Yes, it really is as gory and grotesque as people say. However, it isn't any worse or better than Saw.

If you regret watching Saw, avoid this movie.

Don't listen too anyone, this is just about the tamest horror movie sequel as of late. The gore factor could literally be beaten by a million other horror flicks e.g. Feast1-3, rest stop 1-2, 30days of night... jesus, even the descent and hellraiser surpass this!!
