Vs the Argentine original

How does it compare to the Argentine original?

How bad is it?

Wow... Aside from plot, did it capture some of the mood of the original?

Don't bother with this rubbish remake. The Argentine movie is a classic. You will have to watch it a couple of times because of the subtitles, unless you understand Spanish, to fully appreciate how amazing it is.

The character development in the original is far, far superior than the American version (actually, there wasn't any character development in the American movie).

It wasn't THAT bad.

Though I think the original might been a bit overrated. I loved it (I'm from Argentina) but I think it has a bunch of flaws that had to be adressed. (Some actors, some political bullshit from Argentina's 70's, and stuff)

Still, the original is a 8.5/10, the remake a is a 6, maybe 6.5/10. And it isn't a frame by frame remake, it has some really big changes to it.
