The Leads Are So Good Together!

I watched this movie the other day and I thought that the leads (Kevin Joy & Galadriel Stineman) had quite a lot of chemistry with each other. You could see a spark!

When I looked for Kevin and Galadriel's filmography's, I noticed that they also starred together in another Amish based movie from a few years back called From The Heart. In that movie, Kevin's character, Isaac is Amish and Galadriel's character Kathy Yoder who is also Amish, chose to leave her home and the Amish lifestyle.

I began to wonder if they both grew up Amish and left their heritage for something else. That doesn't appear to be the case from what I read.

Once again they played off of each other so well and I thought, wow they sure have a lot of chemistry. I came to find out that they're indeed married in real life. They really make a cute couple.

The other kind of funny thing I noticed is that during this movie that came out in 2022 (April is English and she happens to meet Kevin's character Jesse in the big city and although he grew up Amish he decided to leave home for a better life). So in this movie, Galadriel's character, April wears a royal blue, short sleeve satin top with matching shorts and white piping for her character's pajamas. After watching From The Heart (which was filmed before this in 2020 and the characters are totally different) I noticed that she was wearing the same set of royal blue & white piping pajamas. She wore them first in From The Heart but I saw the latter filmed movie, first. Anyhow, I found that kind of interesting.
