We never got to meet Aimee's mom

I was waiting the entire film to meet her! I thought we'd discover some shocking fact about her (like we did with with Sutter's dad, although that wasn't exactly shocking) that would explain why Aimee was so vested in helping her with her paper route. But alas, that never happened. Disappointed!
