nudity in a pg-13 movie?

How is this possible? i know total recall recently got away with it but now this? is this going to be a new trend with pg 13 movies getting away with nudity?

i was so shocked when i saw the rating during the trailors

nudity in a pg-13 movie?

Not unless you count a couple rooting around in bed accompanied by sex sounds and the sight of Rachel Nichols bare back as "nudity." And I'll second that; the image(s) of a fellow human being drugged into paralysis and then de-fingered one digit at a time polished off with a blow torch, this is self-evidently far more traumatic than the unclad human form.

Has the OP not seen many PG-13 movies? Pretty much nudity has been allowed in PG-13 movies since its been around. Granted it can't be to graphic or long, but countless PG-13 rated movies have nudity in it. But I do wonder why nudity is stated in the rating because you don't ever really see any nudity unless I just missed something.

I didn't see any either. And you can take it from me, I was looking!

"Just One of the Guys" (1985) PG-13. Best pair of tits my six year old eyes had ever seen...at that point.

Hello seestra, nice to see you again.

Exactly, brief nudity has a dramatic impact on a young child. Most 13 year olds would be considered children mentally. That's why they have that Parental Guidance 13 year old age recommendation. The film is rated that way.

When I was a kid Dad said let's go see Mad Max. I would have been 10 at the time. It was rated R. This was in Australia BTW. So it was 18 or older, but if you were accompanied by an adult you could see it.

So to reiterate my point, it's PG-13, PARENTAL GUIDANCE recommended for those under 13.

I may be off country-wise and out of touch with what PG-13 means in USA, as I don't think we have that rating but, there is a difference between brief incidental nudity, and a nun in leather bondage gear sucking off a whole football team.

Perspective is what it's about, I think.

so what ?!? What is SO wrong with nudity

Nothing. Religious folk hate nudity and swearing because it tempts them. They know they aren't strong enough to see or hear it so they would much rather avoid the "problem" altogether. A true Christian would be able to watch nudity and hear cussing and not replicate it in real life. Unfortunately most people prefer to take the easy way out...that causes them to bitch about movies like this. It causes further restrictions that they claim is "for the betterment of society".

Well there is plenty wrong with nudity and very little right actually.

Firstly would you walk around naked at the shopping centre? Would you go over to your parents place for Christmas day and say hey Grandma check out my hairy balls? Does your child turn up for show and tell naked?

You can go ad nauseam about this stuff.

What's right about nudity?
The Interporn and not much else.

Not worried about any nudity in a PG-13 movie becuase it will be brief, but I thought the movie was pretty violent to get a PG-13 rating. Really seemed like a rated R movie.

i'm curious how old are you? that's not a crack i'm actually curious. if you look at hell a great deal of PG-13 movies in the 80's it had nudity and sex in some films. hell even PG films would in certain films have nudity way back in the 80's. and some in the 90's as well. in short nudity back than was understood that it was for people over 12 years of age, and i dunno how many PG-13 films that i used to watch as a kid that had nudity or even at times sex even. the PG films i don't recall or remember if it had sex in it or not. but some of them had nudity.

these days they don't do that anymore or if they do show it in PG-13 films it's rare these days. it's just Language mostly these days.
