I loved David Leon's character, DS Joe Ashworth. I hope they bring him back in some peripheral way (in his new job or around town, etc.). Really enjoyed the back story of the young married couple and all the kiddies. The dashing actor was also a perfect counterpart to Brenda Blethyn's portrayal of the team's dogged detective chief inspector Vera Stanhope.

If it's true to other stories of the kind he will cross in and out of series 7.

I find Aiden to be a great replacement for Joe. I missed Joe at first, but I'm used to Aiden now, and Kenny Doughty does a fine job.
